Our Lady of Guadalupe - An Acting Story for Children 4-8 Years

For parents and teachers, either one-on-one with a child or with a group of children. Great for catechism class or a fun story time on Sunday or any day of the week!

This is an acting-story. It's fun for both the children and the adult telling the story! It is a formula of how to tell the story to small children 4-8 years old in actions and pictures.

The pictures are numbered and are found on the pages following the story. They should be printed out. For the sake of efficiency, whether each section of text is long or short, it has it's own page or pages which also should be printed out. What you say out loud as you go through the acting-story will be in quotes and bolded. All other directions will not be bolded and should be read silently by the person telling the story.

There's a lot of standing up and sitting down and actions. Although, it is all done in place, make sure you have a surface to put the text and pictures (which should be ordered) so that you can read, show pictures and act, too, in a relatively smooth fashion. Have the child or children sit down with you or in front of you.

Lead all the action parts, having fun doing them. Don't rush. Take your time. The point is to have fun while learning something about the Our Lady of Guadalupe miracle.
